The II Additional District Judge of the SC/ST Court in Nalgonda found the accused guilty under pertinent sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. The superintendent of police, Sharat Chandra Pawar, confirmed the offender was sentenced to 10 years for repeated rape, seven years for cheating, and another 10 years under the SC/ST Act.
The conviction follows the woman's complaint, supported by her statement and scientific evidence, highlighting the influence of legal frameworks in delivering justice for marginalized communities. The court's decision includes a fine of Rs 3,000, emphasizing the seriousness of the crime.
