Delhi High Court Justice Transferred to Calcutta

The Supreme Court collegium, under Chief Justice Sanjiv Khanna, has recommended the transfer of Justice Dinesh Kumar Sharma from the Delhi High Court to the Calcutta High Court. This decision was made during a recent collegium meeting attended by five justices, including Justices B R Gavai and Surya Kant.

Justice Sharma began his judicial career in 1992, being inducted into the Delhi Judicial Service and later advancing to the Delhi Higher Judicial Service by 2003. His qualifications include a course in Conflict Management from the University of Oxford, which he completed during his tenure with the National Human Rights Commission.

Throughout his impressive career, Justice Sharma has held key positions, such as Secretary of the Delhi High Court Legal Service Committee and Registrar General of the Delhi High Court. He also served as Principal District & Sessions Judge in New Delhi, showcasing a dedication to various judicial and administrative roles.
