In response to the unsettling disappearance and deaths of two Gujjar men in Kulgam, along with 17 mysterious deaths in Budhal, Javid Iqbal Choudhary, an MLA from Jammu and Kashmir's Budhal constituency, has demanded a judicial probe.
During his recent visit to Kulgam, Choudhary met with the bereaved families to collect firsthand information, voicing concerns about the Gujjar community facing targeted actions and calling for accountability from authorities.
The MLA criticizes the indifference of law-enforcement agencies and stresses the need for an investigation by a central agency to provide clarity and restore the confidence of the affected community. He urges higher authorities, including Union Home Minister and the Lieutenant Governor, to take immediate action.
