Police authorities in Baramulla have filed an FIR against individuals associated with the banned group, Jammu and Kashmir Ittehadul Muslimeen (IM), citing their involvement in anti-national activities, officials indicated on Thursday.
Headed by Masroor Abbas Ansari, the organization has repeatedly been engaged in acts that threaten the nation's integrity and sovereignty, according to the officials.
Although banned in March for supporting terrorism and secessionist pursuits, members have persisted in militancy, stone-pelting on security forces, and inciting public discord against the Union of India.
