One significant incident involved a bomb explosion near a police vehicle in Quetta, killing two people and injuring 17. In another attack, insurgents stopped a passenger bus in Gwadar, killing six people from Punjab after checking their ID cards and abducting three passengers.
Authorities suspect ethnic Baloch groups were behind these targeted attacks. High-profile government figures strongly condemned the violence, reiterating their commitment to combat terrorism.
