Authorities in Kashmir conducted multiple raids on Thursday as part of investigations into banned organizations, according to officials. The operations targeted locations in Ganderbal, Shopian, and Baramulla districts.
Searches were held at the residences of individuals connected with Jamaat-e-Islami, Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party, and the Masrat Alam Faction of the J-K Muslim League. Law enforcement officials seized incriminating materials tied to the activities of these groups, which now form a crucial part of several FIRs registered under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
Magistrates and independent witnesses were present during the raids to ensure legal compliance and transparency. The investigation aims to disrupt anti-national activities by identifying and legally prosecuting those involved, officials stated.
