Recurring Nightmare: Man Allegedly Kidnaps Victim Again After Bail Release

A man released on bail after a kidnapping and rape charge has allegedly abducted the same minor girl again. Police have initiated a search operation for the girl and suspect, with the complicity of his parents and a relative. Authorities are intensifying efforts to bring them to justice.

In a disturbing turn of events, a man previously charged with the kidnapping and rape of a minor girl has allegedly kidnapped the same victim again after being released on bail. The incident has prompted a renewed police investigation, authorities reported on Thursday.

A comprehensive search operation has been launched to rescue the girl and apprehend Ashish Saroj, the prime suspect, who allegedly executed the latest abduction with assistance from his parents and a relative on Saturday.

Superintendent of Police Abhimanyu Manglik revealed that the initial abduction took place on April 5, 2024. Saroj was subsequently jailed under sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act but was released on bail. A fresh complaint from the victim's mother has led to a new FIR against Saroj and his accomplices, as the police intensify efforts to locate the victim and arrest the suspects.
