Vijaya Rahatkar, NCW's chairperson, has issued stern directives to the state's police and administrative officials for the immediate rehabilitation of the girls, insisting on stringent punitive measures for security lapses and negligence.
Highlighting the escape incident as a wake-up call, Rahatkar emphasized the necessity for improved security at shelter homes and the effective implementation of the 'Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace Act' across the state during her official visit.
