RANCHI: In a shocking incident on Wednesday, Anil Tiger, a former zila parishad member, was gunned down in broad daylight near Kanke Chowk. Police confirmed the shooting occurred within the jurisdiction of Kanke police station.

Jharkhand Director General of Police Anurag Gupta expressed personal grief over the loss, stating, "The incident is unfortunate. I knew Anil Tiger personally. I assure that killers would be caught soon."
