A raucous attack took place in Agra on Wednesday, targeting the residence of Ramji Lal Suman, a Rajya Sabha MP from the Samajwadi Party. Allegedly orchestrated by workers from a right-wing group, the assault left the property in shambles.
The attackers, identified as members of the Karni Sena, reportedly vandalized the MP's house, demolishing cars, shattering glass windows, and breaking furniture. Despite prior warnings on social media, local law enforcement failed to act.
The incident is believed to be triggered by a controversial video where MP Suman allegedly called historic figure Rana Sanga a 'traitor'. However, police officials have yet to comment on the attack.
