The Delhi High Court has sought a response from Delhi Police regarding the bail plea of Manoranjan D, who is among those accused in the December 13, 2023 Parliament security breach.

Justices Chandra Dhari Singh and Anup Jairam Bhambhani have issued notices while hearing Manoranjan's petition against a trial court's denial of bail. The matter is set for July 24.

Prosecution insists the act was grave, linked to designated terrorist threats. The defense claims innocence, asserting the protest was a misguided but non-terrorist demonstration against unemployment.
