In a heartbreaking incident in the Garra River, the lifeless bodies of three boys who went missing while bathing were discovered by police over two days. The boys, Shah Rukh, Shoaib, and Akhlaq, aged 12, 14, and 11 respectively, were part of a group of four children from the Mamudi locality involved in the mishap.
Efforts to retrieve the victims began shortly after the incident unfolded on Tuesday when Shah Rukh's body was recovered. However, comprehensive search operations led to the discovery of Shoaib's and Akhlaq's bodies by Wednesday morning. The local community has been left devastated by this tragic loss.
Superintendent of Police (City) Devendra Kumar expressed condolences and has been closely monitoring the situation. Authorities are calling for greater awareness regarding water safety to prevent similar incidents in the future.
