Tragic Abduction: Teen Murdered Over Rs 10 Lakh Ransom

A 16-year-old boy in Delhi was abducted and killed for a Rs 10 lakh ransom. Three juveniles, linked to the crime, were apprehended. In a calculated plan, the victim was lured, murdered, and his family was extorted. The grim discovery unfolded with police intervention.

In a harrowing incident in north Delhi's Wazirabad area, a 16-year-old boy was found murdered after being abducted for a Rs 10 lakh ransom, police reported on Wednesday. The boy, who was in class 9, was led to a secluded spot near Bhalswa Lake by three juveniles who have since been apprehended.

According to police investigations, the victim was last seen with the suspects on Jharoda Pushta road. CCTV footage confirmed their presence together. The trio allegedly lured him away under the guise of socializing and proceeded to stab him multiple times after taking him to the forested area.

The assailants subsequently contacted the victim's father with a ransom demand, using his son's phone to make the call. Despite their attempts to extort the family, police efforts led to the discovery of the boy's body. It was revealed that the attackers had considered dismembering the body before fleeing the scene.
