The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) convened a comprehensive two-day workshop to advance the understanding of Interpol's color-coded notices among law enforcement officials, as announced on Tuesday.
Supported by Interpol's Notice and Diffusion Task Force, the workshop drew participants from leading national agencies, including the Central Bureau of Investigation, National Investigation Agency, Enforcement Directorate, and others. This collaborative event also welcomed representatives from various state and union territories, alongside legal experts, to discuss the effective utilization of Interpol channels for international cooperation.
A significant focus was placed on the newly-launched Bharatpol platform, designed to expedite the processing of color-coded notices in India. With nine distinct Interpol notices—each serving unique investigative purposes—the workshop emphasized building capabilities to handle these efficiently, fostering stronger global partnerships in law enforcement.
