Rajiv Gauba, a distinguished former cabinet secretary, has been appointed as a full-time member of NITI Aayog, according to a government notification issued on Tuesday.
Gauba, an IAS officer from the Jharkhand cadre with years of high-level experience, helmed top bureaucratic roles in the nation from 2019 until August 2024.
The appointment, approved by the Prime Minister, will see Gauba continuing to serve the nation under the same terms as other full-time members of the NITI Aayog, further cementing his legacy in India's administrative landscape.
