Disha Salian's father, Satish Salian, has intensified his quest for justice, lodging a formal complaint against Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA Aaditya Thackeray. The complaint calls for an investigation into Thackeray and others for alleged involvement in Disha's death, which Salian claims was a murder covered up to protect political interests.
Accompanied by his lawyer, Satish submitted the complaint to the Joint Commissioner of Police, accusing former Mumbai police commissioner Param Bir Singh and others of being complicit in the cover-up. The petition, which will be heard in court, demands that the case be transferred to the CBI for further scrutiny.
The death of Disha Salian after falling from a building in June 2020 remains controversial, with her father now linking political and police figures to the incident. As the case continues to unfold, Aaditya Thackeray maintains that he'll address these serious allegations in court.
