In a significant drug bust, two people were apprehended at Malda railway station in West Bengal for attempting to smuggle cannabis to Delhi.
According to a government railway police official, over 27 kg of cannabis, valued at around Rs 11 lakh, was seized from the suspects' possession on Monday night.
The accused include a resident of Delhi and another from Sagarpara in Murshidabad, who were caught following a tip-off while waiting to board a Delhi-bound train.
