Cannabis Smuggling Bust at Malda Station

Two individuals were arrested at West Bengal's Malda railway station for attempting to smuggle over 27 kg of cannabis to Delhi. The government railway police, acting on a tip-off, seized the cannabis worth approximately Rs 11 lakh. The suspects hail from Delhi and Murshidabad district.

In a significant drug bust, two people were apprehended at Malda railway station in West Bengal for attempting to smuggle cannabis to Delhi.

According to a government railway police official, over 27 kg of cannabis, valued at around Rs 11 lakh, was seized from the suspects' possession on Monday night.

The accused include a resident of Delhi and another from Sagarpara in Murshidabad, who were caught following a tip-off while waiting to board a Delhi-bound train.
