Deadly Betrayal: Wife and Lover Accused in Grisly Murder Plot

In a chilling narrative of marital betrayal, a 25-year-old man was murdered in Uttar Pradesh's Auraiya district, just 15 days after his marriage, allegedly orchestrated by his wife and her lover, according to police reports on Monday.

Authorities, led by Sahar SHO Pankaj Mishra, disclosed that they received a tip-off about an injured individual in a field on March 19. Identified as Dilip Yadav, the victim was moved between hospitals as his condition deteriorated, ultimately succumbing to his injuries on March 21.

Superintendent of Police (Auraiya) Abijith R Shankar revealed that 22-year-old Pragati Yadav, alongside her lover Anurag aka Manoj, allegedly plotted the assassination of Dilip, hiring hitman Ramji Chaudhary for Rs 2 lakh. The trio was apprehended using CCTV evidence.
