Tech Entrepreneur Alleges Harassment by Chennai Police Amid Family Dispute

Prasanna Sankar, a Chennai-born entrepreneur and co-founder of Rippling, has accused local authorities of harassment amid a legal dispute with his estranged wife, Divya. The couple is embroiled in a custody battle over their son, bringing allegations of police corruption to light.
Despite Divya's denial, Sankar claims that an Assistant Commissioner and a Sub-Inspector demanded a Rs 25 lakh bribe to resolve the custody conflict. These allegations have initiated a probe by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Crime Against Women and Children wing.
According to Sankar, his wife falsely accused him of kidnapping their son, following which he posted a video showing their son's happiness with him. The case remains under investigation as authorities attempt to verify the claims and counterclaims from both sides.
