During their discussion, both parties explored avenues for Apple's business expansion in China and deliberated on the broader economic and trade relations between China and the U.S.
This meeting was part of the China Development Forum, which took place in Beijing over the weekend, attracting numerous foreign CEOs. Sources indicated that some participants could meet with President Xi Jinping later this week.
