In a startling turn of events, Prasanna Sankar, a well-known Chennai-based tech entrepreneur and Rippling co-founder, has leveled serious allegations against the local police. The dispute revolves around his ongoing legal battle with his estranged wife, who accused him of kidnapping their son.

Sankar claimed on social media that Chennai police officials demanded a Rs 25 lakh bribe for the release of his detained friend. Meanwhile, a senior police officer has denied these claims, stating the allegations are without foundation and that their probe focuses on the complaint made by Sankar's wife.

The entrepreneur further alleged that his lawyer was compelled to pay Rs 2 lakh to the police. In his defense, Sankar shared a video online, showing his son happy and voluntarily handed over by his mother's consent.
