Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has announced plans to unveil a comprehensive 'white paper' on the tenure of the former AAP government in the national capital. This announcement was made amid discussions of the CAG report concerning the operations of the Delhi Transport Corporation in the Assembly.
The initiative coincides with the first budget session of Delhi's eighth Assembly. Earlier, Gupta tabled the CAG report, which aims to illuminate the financial and operational metrics of the DTC. An economic survey is anticipated shortly, pending the completion of departmental audits.
Gupta, who manages the finance portfolio, will also introduce the first budget under the BJP leadership in Delhi after a 26-year hiatus. The BJP's return to power came after a decisive victory over the AAP in the recent Assembly elections. The five-day budget session commenced with a traditional 'kheer' ceremony.
