In a harrowing incident on March 22, a 23-year-old woman sustained injuries after jumping from a moving MMTS train to escape an alleged assault in the women's coach.
The victim, who was traveling alone from Secunderabad to Medchal, leaped from the train after a male passenger demanded sexual favors and attempted to assault her. Her daring escape resulted in head and body injuries.
The Government Railway Police (GRP) have registered a case, and further investigations are underway. The woman remains hospitalized but is determined to identify her attacker if she encounters him again.
