Punjab Revamps Adoption Process for Orphaned Children

The Punjab government has approved 16 adoption agencies to streamline adoption for prospective parents, announced Women and Child Development Minister Baljit Kaur. Additionally, 176 new positions have been created to ensure the welfare of orphaned children and to make the adoption process more transparent and efficient.
