Family Feud Turns Fatal in Odisha: Businessman Murdered

A businessman named Snehasish Panda was allegedly murdered in Baripada, Odisha, over a family dispute. The attacker, Sudhansu Mahakud, entered Panda's home and slit his throat before fleeing. Police suspect a disagreement from the previous Holi celebration as the motive and have since arrested Mahakud.

A horrifying family dispute resulted in the alleged murder of 56-year-old Snehasish Panda, a businessman in Baripada, Odisha, on Friday.

Police reports reveal that Panda was in his Forest Colony residence when the intruder, identified as Sudhansu Mahakud, attacked and fatally slit his throat. At the time of the murder, Panda was alone in the house.

Authorities suggest that the homicidal incident may have stemmed from a family feud that occurred during the last Holi festival. Following the grisly incident, a case was registered, leading to the arrest of Mahakud.
