Major Crackdown: Notorious Interstate Criminals Nabbed
Five notorious interstate criminals were arrested in a coordinated operation by police in Karnataka and Kerala. The arrests led to the recovery of weapons, cannabis, and other valuables. The police crackdown aims to dismantle criminal networks involved in arms smuggling and drug trafficking.

In a significant breakthrough, police authorities in Karnataka and Kerala have arrested five notorious interstate criminals, according to officials on Thursday.
During a press briefing in Mangaluru, Police Commissioner Anupam Agarwal revealed that the arrest operation led to the confiscation of three pistols, six live bullets, 12.89 kg of cannabis, and other valuables. Acting on intelligence, Central Crime Branch forces intercepted a suspicious vehicle in Mangaluru, resulting in the apprehension of Noufal and Mansoor, both involved in various criminal activities.
Additionally, a later operation disrupted an attempt to smuggle narcotics into Mangaluru. Abdul Latif, another suspect from Kasaragod district, was detained, and a large quantity of cannabis was seized. Commissioner Agarwal noted that law enforcement is intensifying efforts against interstate networks engaged in illegal arms and drug trafficking.
