The Allahabad High Court has reserved its judgment concerning a public interest litigation (PIL) demanding a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into alleged mismanagement at the recently held Maha Kumbh.

The division bench, which includes Chief Justice Arun Bhansali and Justice Kshitij Shailendra, concluded hearings on Tuesday, following allegations by petitioner Keshar Singh and others. They claimed that despite significant financial investments by the administration, pilgrims encountered numerous difficulties due to insufficient arrangements.

The court is expected to deliver its ruling shortly, amid rising concerns over administrative accountability and effective utilization of public funds in organizing such large-scale religious events.
