Parliament Break: Holi Cancels March 13th Session
The Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha will not convene on March 13, 2025, as decided by their business advisory committees due to Holi. A holiday is already scheduled for March 14. The Lok Sabha may sit on March 29 to compensate for the cancellation.

The Indian Parliament's Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha will not hold sessions on March 13, 2025, a decision taken by their business advisory committees in consideration of the Holi festival.
Both houses had already set March 14 as a holiday for Holi celebrations. An official bulletin from the Rajya Sabha secretariat outlined the decision, emphasizing that the March 13 session was unanimously canceled by the Business Advisory Committee.
Meanwhile, the Lok Sabha's committee has proposed an additional session on Saturday, March 29, to make up for the lost day.
