Kurdish Leader Urges Accountability in Syrian Coastal Violence

Abdi's comments come after reports of 200 Syrian forces members killed following clashes with supporters of the previous regime, led by Bashar al-Assad. These attacks have escalated into broader sectarian violence.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reports over 1,000 casualties in ongoing conflicts. The Kurdish leader is urging President Ahmed al-Sharaa to reform the Syrian army, warning that some factions exploit their positions to foster sectarian discord.
