Calling for swift action, NCP (SP) leader Supriya Sule urged Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to involve the CBI or a special investigation team in the unresolved Mahadev Munde murder case.
Sule pointed out that despite Munde's murder confirmation on October 22, 2023, the investigation has seen little progress more than a year later. The lack of apprehension has caused distress to the family and questions the investigation's efficacy, she noted.
Sule underscored the need for an impartial investigation to maintain public trust and highlighted allegations of influential obstruction in the case. Urging the government to address these concerns, she cited threats to Munde's family, noting a broader pattern of criminal activity spotlighted by local tragedies.
