Tens of thousands gathered just outside Beirut to honor the late Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, who was killed in an Israeli airstrike. The mass gathering took place nearly five months after his death, reflecting Nasrallah's significant influence on the Iran-backed Shi'ite group.

Supporters, displaying Hezbollah flags and images of Nasrallah, filled the 55,000-seat Camille Chamoun Sports City stadium. The event aimed to demonstrate the group's resilience despite significant losses following last year's conflict with Israel, which resulted in numerous casualties and weakened Hezbollah's leadership.

Attendees included Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and delegations from Iraq and Yemen, symbolizing the group's enduring connections and influence. The ceremony also highlighted the complex geopolitical challenges Hezbollah faces, accentuated by strategic setbacks following the ousting of its ally Bashar al-Assad in Syria.
