Village Leader Arrested in Rape Case: A Shocking Betrayal

A shocking incident has emerged from a village under the Fefna Police Station jurisdiction, where a local leader has been arrested for a heinous crime. The accused, village pradhan Rahul Paswan, allegedly raped a resident woman about a month ago, according to the police.

Phephna SHO Ajay Kumar Tripathi confirmed that a formal complaint was lodged by the victim, and a case was promptly registered against Paswan under sections 64 (2)M and 351(2) of the BNS, addressing rape and criminal intimidation, respectively.

Paswan was apprehended on Friday in the Ekouni Tiraha area. After completing all necessary legal formalities, he was sent to jail, showing a swift response by the authorities to such grave allegations.
