Qatar's Role in Reuniting Families Torn by Conflict

In a humanitarian effort mediated by Qatar, two young girls have been successfully returned to Russia from Ukraine, a move celebrated by Russian children's commissioner Maria Lvova-Belova. The sisters were separated from their mother due to the ongoing conflict, living with their grandparents in Ukraine while their mother worked in Russia.
This return marks part of a broader initiative with Qatar's involvement in reuniting families disrupted by the war. The International Committee of the Red Cross also played a crucial role in facilitating the return of these children.
Lvova-Belova has confirmed that 17 children from 11 families have been brought back to Russia, with 95 children reuniting with relatives in Ukraine and other countries, showcasing significant progress in these humanitarian efforts.
