Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla convened a high-level meeting with senior officials from the police, CRPF, BSF, and Assam Rifles to assess the state's comprehensive security scenario. This critical gathering took place at Raj Bhavan in Imphal this Saturday, as per an official statement.
The assembly reflected on the current law and order conditions, with an emphasis on securing borders. Governor Bhalla's strategic review considered the entire state's security framework, underscoring the importance of a robust security presence.
Deputing the state's security apparatus as a top priority, the Governor directed the state DGP to ensure public safety. Officials from the Army and paramilitary forces were urged to collaborate fully with the administration. The meeting saw participation from Security Advisor Kuldiep Singh and other senior officials, including DGP Rajiv Singh and IGAR (South) Maj Gen Ravroop Singh.
