Russian Forces Claim New Victories Amid Rising Tensions
The Russian defence ministry announced the capture of Nadiya village in Ukraine's eastern Luhansk region and claimed to have downed eight U.S.-made ATACMS missiles. Additionally, 10 Ukrainian drones were reportedly shot down in Russian airspace, prompting a temporary halt to flights at St Petersburg's Pulkovo airport.

In a significant development on the Eastern European front, Russia's defence ministry declared the capture of Nadiya village in Ukraine's contested Luhansk region. This announcement follows reports of intense military engagement in the area.
The ministry further claimed the successful interception of eight incoming U.S.-made ATACMS missiles. This advanced missile defense maneuver marks a critical point in the continuing conflict.
Additionally, Russia reported the shooting down of 10 Ukrainian drones over Russian land, including the northern Leningrad region. In response, St Petersburg's Pulkovo airport suspended all flights on Saturday morning for safety reasons.
