Announced on Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule's birth anniversary, the initiative is titled 'Connecting with the Cause,' and it seeks to engage law students in creative endeavors.
The competition encourages the use of modern media tools to create impactful content that educates the public about various legal issues. Supreme Court Judge Justice B R Gavai, the Executive Chairman of NALSA, emphasizes that the initiative is informed by a Supreme Court judgment that underlines the importance of enhancing public awareness regarding legal aid.
The competition is strategically divided into zones, focusing on NALSA schemes and related topics. Participating law colleges will submit their best entries in the categories of reels and short films, with winners receiving cash prizes. This effort not only empowers law students but also strengthens NALSA's mission to improve access to legal aid nationwide.
