The Amritsar Commissionerate Police announced the successful dismantling of a cross-border drug and weapon smuggling operation, arresting 12 suspects, including the alleged ringleader Manjeet Singh.
Officers seized 2.19 kg of heroin, sophisticated weapons, and significant drug money. A Toyota Fortuner was also impounded.
Investigations revealed the network's direct connections with Pakistan-based operatives, utilizing drones for smugglings. Ongoing probes aim to uncover further links and accomplices.
