A woman named Rozida, wanted in connection with a murder, was arrested on New Year's Eve, according to police reports. The 25-year-old fugitive had been on the run since October, following a violent altercation in west Delhi's Moti Nagar that left a man dead.

Authorities connected Rozida to the death of a man named Shahnawaz, who died from injuries sustained during the incident. Alongside other suspects, including a minor, Rozida and her partner Ajju managed to escape apprehension at the time by fleeing to different locations.

Following her escape to Bihar, where she adopted a false identity, Rozida made a risky return to Delhi to visit her children. The police tracked her movements, leading to her arrest near Satya Park. During questioning, Rozida confessed to her involvement in the planned attack against Shahnawaz.
