Sakshi's spouse, Vishal Gawli, has been named the primary suspect. Despite these legal changes, he continues to receive representation from his legal team. Union Minister Ramdas Athawale visited the victim's grieving family, calling for strict punishment for the perpetrators.
In a gesture of support, the government pledged financial assistance to the victim's family. Furthermore, the municipal corporation has plans to demolish the accused's hazardous property. The police continue to detain both accused individuals as the investigation progresses.
