The Delhi Police have initiated an investigation following allegations of fraudulent voter registration attempts. The Sangam Vihar Electoral Registration Officer has filed an application requesting an FIR against an individual allegedly using forged documents to enroll as a voter.

During the initial inquiry, ERO Tanuj Bhanot highlighted the tampering with an electricity bill submitted as identity proof. The police are tasked with verifying the authenticity of the documents and taking appropriate actions against those involved.

Meanwhile, the New Delhi ERO has requested legal action against two women accused of submitting false information to remove names from the electoral roll, suggesting voters had permanently shifted from their registered addresses.
