In a significant breakthrough, the Delhi Police have successfully apprehended a 24-year-old man in Bihar's Muzaffarpur, linked to a four-year-old rape case.
The troubling incident involves the kidnapping and alleged rape of a 14-year-old girl, naming her brother and his friend as perpetrators. The case was officially lodged on October 11, 2021, at Kapashera Police Station.
While the victim's brother faced arrest and judicial custody, the primary accused went on the run until recently. Declared a proclaimed offender, his unexpected capture was the result of careful police planning, including officers disguising themselves as locals to track his frequent relocations. His eventual arrest on December 31 marked the end of his flight from justice.
