VCK chief Thol Thirumavalavan has called for a comprehensive investigation into the sexual assault case of a university student, amid suspicions of multiple perpetrators. The leader stressed the need for justice and ensuring safety for female students in hostels.
The government, particularly law enforcement, should conduct an honest probe and take decisive action against all responsible parties, Thirumavalavan insisted. The case, which involves a 19-year-old Anna University student, has led to widespread public outrage.
Opposition leader Edappadi K Palaniswami has queried about the identity of another individual allegedly involved, urging for the arrest of all true culprits linked to the incident.
