A New Year's Eve celebration in Thane's Kashmira neighborhood turned tragic when a dispute over loud music escalated into violence, resulting in the death of one man.
The incident, which took place at a MHADA housing complex on December 31st, involved Raja Pariar, 24, and another individual, Vipul Rai, who were reportedly attacked by residents upset over the blaring DJ music.
Pariar succumbed to his injuries in a Mumbai hospital, while Rai continues to receive medical treatment. Authorities have detained several individuals connected to the incident, and an investigation is underway.
