Navi Mumbai police announced on Thursday that they had swiftly resolved the gruesome double-murder of a 70-year-old woman and her son in Kamote. This was achieved through the arrest of two 19-year-old suspects.

Geeta Bhushan Jaggi and her son Jitendra, aged 45, were found deceased in their Sector 6 home on Wednesday evening. Local authorities and Crime Branch teams responded with a detailed investigation into several possible leads.

A tip-off led police to Sanjyot Mangesh Dodke and Subham Mahindra Narayani in Ulwe. The two had attended a party at the victims' home and later attacked them following a provocation, ultimately fleeing with valuables.
