A tragic shooting unfolded on Wednesday in the Montenegrin city of Cetinje, resulting in several fatalities, as reported by local police and media. The suspect responsible for the attack is currently on the run.
Special police forces have been dispatched to locate the armed shooter, identified only by his initials A.M., a 45-year-old, in the vicinity of Cetinje, located about 30 kilometers northwest of Podgorica.
The shooter, reportedly involved in a previous bar brawl, opened fire before fleeing. Local media identified him as Aco Martinovic, a man with a known history of erratic behavior and past detention for illegal possession of weapons. The authorities have not disclosed an exact number of casualties, but state television claimed seven were killed in the attack.
