As special police units scour the city, some 30 kilometers from the capital Podgorica, efforts to locate the suspect remain ongoing. Identified only by his initials, A.M., and aged 45, the shooter fled after opening fire in a bar.
The latest reports from state television RTCG indicate that seven lives were lost, prompting authorities to urge residents to stay indoors, assuring that the incident was not related to gang violence. The Montenegrin Vijesti daily suggested the shooting stemmed from a bar brawl.
