Tragic Fall: The Case of Ritu's Mysterious Death

A woman reportedly lost her life after allegedly being pushed from the rooftop of her residence, authorities said. The woman's spouse and in-laws are now in custody.

The incident was brought to light following a complaint lodged by Taresh Vijayaran, the victim's brother, who stated he learned of his sister Ritu's fatal fall from the rooftop of her in-law's residence in the sector 5 area on December 30.

'Last Monday, my sister called me in tears, revealing that her husband Rohit, mother-in-law Kanta, and father-in-law Rajbir were physically assaulting her. She pleaded for help,' Vijayaran claimed. Later, he received information that Ritu had jumped from the terrace, resulting in her death, subsequently leading to the arrests. The ongoing investigation aims to uncover the truth behind the allegations, according to Gurugram police.
