Tragedy Strikes in Hazaribag: Five Lives Lost in Well Rescue Attempt

A tragic incident unfolded in Jharkhand's Hazaribag district as five individuals lost their lives during a rescue attempt in a well, according to a police official.
The incident began when Sundar Karmali, aged 27, jumped into the well following a domestic altercation with his wife, Rupa Devi, as reported by police.
In an effort to save Karmali, four other individuals entered the well sequentially but all perished, confirmed BN Prasad, the sub-divisional police officer of Bishnugarh. Identified victims include Rahul Karmali, 26, Vinay Karmali, Pankaj Karmali, and Suraj Bhuiyan, 24.
Upon receiving information, police promptly reached the scene, recovered the bodies, and sent them for post-mortem examination. Authorities have covered the well and restricted movement in its vicinity.
