A shocking act of vandalism was reported in Chaube Chhapra village where miscreants defaced a statue of BR Ambedkar by dousing it with motor oil, according to police officials on Wednesday.
The attack occurred overnight, with villagers uncovering the damage during their morning walks. Authorities confirmed that a complaint, issued by a local resident Vikas Kumar, has led to a case being filed against unidentified suspects under the BNS.
Revati SHO Rohan Rakesh Singh stated that an investigation is underway. The statue is currently being restored, and additional police forces have been deployed to ensure peace and security in the area. Police insist they are determined to find those responsible for the act.
