In a late-night act of vandalism, three men targeted parked cars in Jalna district, smashing windows in the Panchal Colony area. CCTV footage captured the assailants as they arrived on a motorcycle, sparking fear within the community. Using sticks and stones, they damaged at least five vehicles.
The incident is the latest in a series of attacks attributed to the infamous 'koyta gangs', known for creating chaos in public spaces to instill fear. Pune and other areas of the state have reported similar disturbances, often involving minors among the perpetrators.
The Nilanga police, led by Inspector Sudhir Suryawanshi, have lodged a formal case and initiated a thorough investigation into the incident. Authorities are working diligently to bring those responsible to justice and restore peace in the affected communities.
